We are thrilled to announce the inaugural “PENRITH HIGHLAND FESTIVAL,” which will be celebrated on Saturday 03 October 2026.

On Sat 20th of December 2025, the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums performed at the 43rd Annual Carols in The Domain in Sydney.

The Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums have again be chosen to perform at National Level. This time the team will be performing at the annual “SALVATION ARMY - CAROLS IN THE DOMAIN” in Sydney City.

On Thursday 4th December, the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums attended the annual Bunnings South Christmas Party.

On Saturday 29th November, after the bands Xmas Party, the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums performed at the annual Colyton Christmas Carols at Kevin Dwyer Park, Colyton.

On Saturday 29 November 2025 the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums held their annual Xmas Party and awards afternoon at the Penrith Naval Museum. Although not all members were able to make the event, at least 30 members did and enjoyed the day. On offer for the team was a huge range of food and drinks, organised by Sheena and Stacey. Thank you ladies.

On Saturday 22 November 2025, the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drum attended the Satire Estates Hunter Valley Highland Games for the very first time.

On Wednesday 22 Oct 2026, Andrew (China) Iverson, our Pipe Major, was invited to attend Channel 7 Sydney to assist in promoting the 2026 Commonwealth Games from Scotland.

It is with great pleasure that I announce that one of our youngest members, Aiden Wong, was awarded a Certificate of Recognition and Encouragement award from the Berry Celtic Festival, in particular, from Mr Paul Gibson (Bearer of Arms) and his wife Dr Shona Gibson (Bearer of Arms) of the event .

On Monday 26th May 2025, a number of members from the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums made their way to Government House for a reception with General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK AC (Mil) CVO MC (Retd).

The Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums were chosen to perform at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday 24th April, in the Harbour Sunset ANZAC Tribute.

On Wednesday 23rd of April, two members of the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums (Tim Badger - President and Alan Harris - piper, were invited to the annual ANZAC Commemorative Service at the Nepean Hospital.

On Thursday 10th April 2025, three members of the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums were invited to perform at the South Penrith Bunnings Easter Family Night.

On Saturday 5th April 2025, the very “NEW LOOK” Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums attended the annual Bundanoon Highland Gathering. Due to washouts in previous years, this was the first time the event was able to be held in three years.
