The Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums were chosen to perform at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday 24th April, in the Harbour Sunset ANZAC Tribute.

ANZAC DAY NEPEAN HOSPITAL SERVICE
On Wednesday 23rd of April, two members of the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums (Tim Badger - President and Alan Harris - piper, were invited to the annual ANZAC Commemorative Service at the Nepean Hospital.

BUNNINGS EASTER FAMILY NIGHT
On Thursday 10th April 2025, three members of the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums were invited to perform at the South Penrith Bunnings Easter Family Night.

2025 BUNDANOON HIGHLAND GATHERING
On Saturday 5th April 2025, the very “NEW LOOK” Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums attended the annual Bundanoon Highland Gathering. Due to washouts in previous years, this was the first time the event was able to be held in three years.

ONE BIG BREATH
On Saturday 29th Mar 2025, three members of the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums (China, Mark and Sue) were involved in the 12 hour “ONE BIG BREATH” bagpipe marathon at Liverpool Catholic Club.

2025 Greek national day
On Sunday 23 Mar 2025, approximately 14 members of the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums headed into Sydney City to perform at the annual Greek National Day. It was a fantastic event and a good rehearsal for the upcoming Bundanoon Highland Gathering.

Kaydence strives for perfection
The newest and youngest member of the band, Kaydence, may not be at the level to perform with the band as yet, but she is keen to assist and represent.

ST PATRICKS DAY 2025
On Sunday 16 Mar 2025, 15 members of the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums played at the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade in Sydney City. It was a great event and opportunity for the band to give back to the community.

On behalf of the entire Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums, and our families, I would like to congratulate the Jolly family, who joined our band a little over two years ago, on becoming Australian Citizens.

Granville memorial
On Saturday 18 January 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales and Mr Dennis Wilson, as Official guests attended a Memorial Service in memory of the victims of the Granville Train Disaster, at the Granville Train Disaster Memorial Gardens, Granville. Also in attendance playing at the event was our 2024 most improved piper, Alan Harris.

FLASH MOB
On Saturday 26th Oct 2024, the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums, along with members from the Blue Mountains Pipes and Drums, Hornsby RSL Pipe Band, Southern Cross Liverpool Catholic Club Pipe Band, Northern Suburbs Pipe Band, Parramatta RSL Caledonian Pipe Band and the NSW Police Pipe Band conducted a “FLASH MOB” at Westfield Penrith Plaza.

NEW DRUMMING PRACTICE TIMES
Hi All,
The Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums have a new Drum Sergeant, Justin Mannering. Justin is a Tier 1 drummer and is a welcome addition to our band. Welcome mate.
After a few weeks of observing, and gaining a better knowledge and understanding of members availability, Justin has decided to re-structured rehearsals for the drummers:
