Penrith District Netball Association Season Opening Parade

Early on the morning of Saturday 3rd May, the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums attended their second Penrith District Netball Association Season Opening Parade at Jamison Park, Jamison.

Despite a number of members being down sick with the flu, and others having to work, we were still able to present seven pipers and 4 drummers at the event. For a smaller than usual team of late the band performed to a very good standard.

It was pleasing to see hundreds of kids and their parents at the event which saw the band lead the procession of approximately 28 clubs into a new and exciting season.

On behalf of the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums, we wish all the competitors all the best for the season and we look forward to seeing them all again at the start of the 2026 season.
