CONGRATULATIONS AIDEN

It is with great pleasure that I announce that one of our youngest members, Aiden Wong, was awarded a Certificate of Recognition and Encouragement award from the Berry Celtic Festival, in particular, from Mr Paul Gibson (Bearer of Arms) and his wife Dr Shona Gibson (Bearer of Arms) of the event .

Earlier this year, Paul and Shona sent the Penrith RSL Pipes and Drums a request asking our committee to supply the name of deserving member for this award. The member had to display enthusiasm and pride in their uniforms and be passionate about their craft.

Aiden is all of this and more and despite the event being cancelled in 2025 due to bad weather, the Berry Celtic Festival still chose to issue the awards.

Aiden’s received the award through Mr Paul Gibson and his wife Dr Shona Gibson from the Berry Celtic Festival, for his exceptional commitment and dedication to our band, and to his instructors and to his mentors.
